Instructional Design and Learning Objects
Learning objects are not yet an established technology, but rather a philosophy of how content can be created and deployed. A widely adopted industry standard, developed by ADL called the SCORM, defines a "SCO" (sharable content object), and provides a common method that makes content interoperable among Learning Management Systems (LMS).
